Tik Tek Solution – iPhone and Web Programmer (Summer 2011)
As a programmer at Tik Tek Solutions I was involved in the development and maintenance of several large-scale web and iPhone projects. Notable projects I worked on include:
- Mis Tips En Linea, a Spanish question and answer site
- Bet4Fun, a sports betting site
- A suite of internal site tools, including a client management and feedback system and ticket tracker
- POSMobile, a point-of-sale package for the iPhone
The SCRUM software development methodology was used during the development of all projects. Since Tik Tek is based in Mexico I worked from home during my time at the company, exposing me to the benefits and drawbacks of telecommuting.
Dhahran Elementary School – IT Assistant (Summer 2009)
This position was largely hardware based, and involved setting up new computers and networks for the coming school year. Some software work was done with teachers to develop lesson plans for display on the Promethean ActivBoard technology.
MMORPGMaker - Site Administrator (2008 – Present)
As the site administrator of MMORPGMaker.com I am responsible for maintaining the site and helping the other staff moderate the forums. Working on the website has given me many years of experience with various web-based software, including CPanel, phpMyAdmin, Joomla, and phpBB. This is a volunteer position.
